Colin Fassnidge got heated with a contestant on Tuesday night’s My Kitchen Rules.
Chris, known for his provocative behaviour, openly criticised the celebrity judges for their generous scoring of Nick and Christian in the Instant Restaurant round.
The drama began after the teams collectively assigned a low score of 27 points to the Melbourne hospitality workers on the previous night’s episode.
In stark contrast, judges Colin and Manu Feildel awarded them some of the highest points of the competition.
Amid a tension-filled exchange involving all the teams, numerous contestants raised doubts regarding the quality of Nick and Christian’s dishes and the fairness of the judges’ scores.

‘I think that everyone at the table found their meals underwhelming and disappointing and just not top-of-the-leaderboard quality food,’ Patricija said in her confessional.
‘But they are there. I mean the judges loved it.’
Provocateur Chris stood alone in confronting Colin and Manu directly, expressing his bewilderment at the exceptionally high scores they had awarded.
‘I was a little bit confused by some of the scores,’ Chris said, looking towards the judges.
‘Our scores that we gave them?’ Colin replied.

‘Yeah, yeah,’ said Chris.
‘Alright, talk it up. Let’s go,’ Colin snapped back.
Chris rose to the challenge of the judge, demanding an explanation from Manu and Colin.
‘The biggest thing for me was the main – because I just didn’t enjoy the main and you guys loved it. So, you know, it just left me sort of scratching my head,’ Chris said.

Nevertheless, Colin was certain that Nick and Christian’s dish was worthy of a such a high score.
‘For me, it was one of the messiest dishes I’ve seen,’ he said.
‘But when I left, I was like … I was happy about that dish! And it wasn’t about a competition for me, it was like “I’d eat that again.”‘
It comes after last week’s accusations that Chris was a saboteur.
Contestant Christian from Melbourne got tongues wagging when he accused Chris and Aaron’s team of sabotage.

Christian believed they were intentionally giving harsh criticisms to mess up the other teams and improve their own chances of winning the competition.
The trouble began when Chris and Aaron criticised the first two dishes made by Claudean and Anthony during their Instant Restaurant round.
Claudean and Anthony, a couple from Brisbane who almost got eliminated in the previous round, impressed both the table of guests and the judges, Colin Fassnidge and Manu Feildel, with their first two courses.

But Aaron and Chris were not as enthusiastic as the judges or the other teams.
Aaron and Chris were not as enthusiastic as the judges or the other teams: ‘I don’t necessarily think it was a threatening start,’ said Chris
‘I don’t necessarily think it was a threatening start,’ said Chris. ‘We want to be impressed, and if someone doesn’t impress us with a dish, well they’re going to hear about it.’
Chris went on to slam the rabbit main dish too, saying he was underwhelmed by the ratio of mash and the flavour too.
Aaron echoed these critiques, claiming the rabbit was ‘chalky’ and lacking in taste.
Christian (pictured right) accused them of having hidden motives for their criticism
Because Chris and Aaron were the only ones at the table who didn’t like the main dish, Christian accused them of having hidden motives for their criticism.
‘I think Aaron and Chris are very, very critical of what was a very, very good dish. Is this a tactic? Are they trying to throw everyone off?’ he said.
When it was time to give overall scores for the meals, all the MKR teams gave Claudean and Anthony scores of six or seven, but Aaron and Chris only gave them a four.
This made Claudean think that the other contestants were ‘playing games.’
‘I think the guest teams’ score of 29 was low,’ she said. ‘I think that we have been scored harshly.’
