Perched on the edge of a cliff at Aireys Inlet, Victoria, 122kms from Melbourne, the three-bedroom, one-bathroom home boasts stunning coastal views.

Many fans of Round the Twist will instantly recognise the iconic Split Point Lighthouse, which stands adjacent to the main house.

Set in one of the state’s major holiday spots, the home, currently in use as a rental getaway, has not been on the market for 85 years, reports the Herald Sun.

Highlights inside the rustic setting include high ceilings, cosy wood floors and a fireplace.

Round the Twist attracted a whole new legion of fans recently when it started streaming on Netflix in 2021.

Set in the fictional Port Naranda, the beloved children’s show centred on the Twist family and their supernatural adventures.

The cast included Richard Moir who originated the character of the lovable single father Tony Twist, a role later taken over by Andrew S Gilbert.

Other stars included Ben Thomas, who later won roles in Neighbours and Blue Heelers, as well as Jeffrey Walker, who left acting and became a director on shows The Clearing for Disney+.

Round The Twist ran for four seasons, with the first two airing between 1989 and 1992, and the latter from 2000 to 2001.

It debuted on the Seven network in 1990 before the ABC took over the show in 1993. It also aired in Britain on the BBC, earning a cult following.

There was then a seven-year hiatus before the show returned in 2000.
