But the Hollywood superstar showed off a mouth full of very crooked teeth in a video shared to Instagram on Tuesday.
The Australian actor smiled for the camera while sitting in a makeup chair, his front teeth varying lengths and out of place.
Luckily it was all in the service of movie magic, as Chris was being fitted for false teeth behind-the-scenes on the set of Mad Max: Furiosa.
In the apocalyptic adventure film, the 40-year-old plays warlord Dementus, donning a wig, fake facial hair and false teeth for the role.

He wrote in the caption alongside the clip: ‘Early stage makeup tests for Dr Dementus were a lotta fun’.
It comes after news that Chris is receiving a star on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce revealed they were honouring the Thor actor, for his incredible contributions to motion pictures.
Hemsworth will receive the 2,781st star on the famous strip which is located on Hollywood Boulevard.

Speakers at the a ceremony to honour the Aussie star include Mad Max: Furiosa director George Miller and Chris’ The Avengers co-star Robert Downey Jr.
The Hollywood Walk of Fame is an internationally recognised sidewalk attraction in Los Angeles and features stars embedded with the names of celebrities honoured for their achievements in the entertainment industry.
Several other Australia and New Zealand actors have been awarded a star, including Nicole Kidman, Eric Bana, Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett and Simon Baker.
‘We are proud to honour Hemsworth with a well-deserved star. Chris is known for his remarkable performances that have captivated audiences worldwide,’ a statement from the organisation read.
‘Along with his many fans, I am sure his fellow Australians will be so happy to know that we are adding another talented Aussie to our iconic Walk of Fame.’

Hemsworth revealed on Saturday the surprising prop item he kept as a souvenir from the production of his upcoming movie Mad Max: Furiosa.
He admitted his villainous character Dementus rode a unique and heavily modified motorbike in the movie, which he kept once filming had wrapped.
‘I don’t know if I should admit, I didn’t steal but I definitely said, “This is coming with me”,’ he told The Daily Telegraph.
‘I took the motorbike I had in the film. It had a radial aeroplane engine as its drive mechanism.’
Hemsworth’s evil character is seen riding the stunning bike at various points in the latest Mad Max movie, which is out nationally in cinemas on Thursday, May 23.
He added that director George Miller had crafted a brilliant cautionary tale which looked at several modern day issues through a fictional lens.
‘What’s remarkable about what George has done is to be quite accurate in the potentiality of what is to come.’
