Nina Dobrev posted a cryptic TikTok video just days before calling off her engagement to Shaun White following five years together.
It was revealed on Thursday that the 36-year-old actress called it quits from the former pro snowboarder after he popped the big question back in October 2024.
However, earlier last week on Friday, Dobrev had uploaded a short clip to her main TikTok page about ‘fixing’ a man.
The Vampire Diaries alum could be sitting and looking towards the camera while lip-syncing to audio.
‘How do you sleep at night knowing people don’t like you?’ a woman asked, to which the actress mouthed in response, ‘With no underwear, in case they wanna kiss my a**.’
Then the question, ‘What’s your advice for women trying to fix their man?’ was heard and Dobrev once again lip-synced the answer.
‘Listen, Bob the Builder, he’s got 10 other women trying to fix him too, and you all look like a d**n construction crew.’

In the caption of the reel, the actress simply added emojis such as a construction worker, tractor and hammer.
While Dobrev did not directly address the status of her relationship with White in the video, some social media users jumped to the comment section to speculate that she could possibly have been referencing to their break up.
‘Well this video makes sense now after the split news,’ one fan penned, and another shared, ‘Is this her telling us why they broke up?’
Dobrev and White were first romantically linked back in 2020 – and a source opened up to People about the former couple’s separation.
‘The split was mutual and made with love and a deep respect for one another,’ the insider said, adding that the pair also remain supportive of each other.
The two stars were last publicly seen together on August 31 as they held hands during an outing in Los Angeles.
An insider also talked to the Daily Mail and gave insight into Dobrev and White’s recent split – including their different focuses.
The source claimed, ‘Shaun is retired and has had his last Olympics, he was very ready for marriage and kids and all that comes from that.

The insider added, ‘Shaun has done some acting but has focused on being an entrepreneur after his snowboarding career finished up, and he was gearing up to be a father and wanting that life.
‘As much as they had the same ideals and wanted to enjoy the same ride, they naturally couldn’t come together on a common goal and that was the strain on their relationship.’
Daily Mail has reached out to Dobrev and White’s reps for comment but has not heard back.
Earlier this month on September 7, the actress attended the premiere of Eternity during the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival without her five-carat diamond engagement ring.
She has also unpinned her engagement post on Instagram, which featured photos from the Olympic gold medalist’s romantic candlelit proposal.
White and Dobrev often shared glimpses of their relationship with fans, from traveling the world together to supporting each other’s careers.
In January 2024, Dobrev revealed they like to ‘do date night every week’ and ‘alternate [planning].’

‘It’s interesting because during the Olympics and leading up to the Olympics, he was traveling all over the world, trying to get to the mountains and training,’ she noted.
‘So for a lot of our relationship, it was me traveling to where he had to be, except for during COVID when I was in between jobs.’
In October of last year, she revealed White popped the question by writing: ‘RIP boyfriend, hello fiancé.’
Meanwhile, White took to his social media to proudly declare: ‘She said YES!’

Photos showed the moment White dropped to one knee to ask for Dobrev’s hand in marriage with a five-carat ring by Lorraine Schwartz, as she cupped her mouth in shock.
After accepting his proposal, they shared a sweet embrace, with Shaun lifting her off her feet.
Before her relationship with the sports star, the actress previously dated her Vampire Diaries castmate Ian Somerhalder.
White also dated singer and Phantogram band member Sarah Barthel from 2013 until their split in 2019.
