Reese Witherspoon took to Instagram on Wednesday to wish her daughter Ava Phillippe a happy birthday.
The 46-year-old actress’ firstborn child, whom she shares with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, celebrated her 26th birthday on September 10.
Taking to social media, the proud mom shared a stunning photo with her mini-me and added a sentimental caption.
‘Happy 26th my sweet girl @avaphillippe! You have changed my life in all the best ways. I love you,’ she wrote.
Ava replied, ‘Love u mama,’ adding a heart emoji with an arrow going through it.
Reese’s celebrity friend Kate Hudson shared well wishes in the comments, writing, ‘Oh 26. Happy Birthday!’

Julianne Moore added, ‘Happy birthday Ava!’ while Reese’s friend and collaborator Octavia Spencer wrote the same thing.
In addition to her daughter, the filmmaker also shares 21-year-old son Deacon Phillippe with her ex-husband.
Following their divorce in 2008, the Sweet Home Alabama star went on to marry Jim Toth in 2011.
They welcomed son Tennessee, who will turn 13 on September 27, in 2012.
The mother-of-three filed for divorce from Jim in March 2023, and has since moved on with German financier Oliver Haarmann.
Reese’s birthday wish to her daughter came after she celebrated season four of her hit AppleTV+ series The Morning Show on Tuesday.
She used Instagram Stories to show off her glamorous evening look, which included a black David Koma dress and Rahaminov jewelry.
The season four premiere was held at the Modern Museum of Art in New York City, with her co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Jon Hamm in attendance.

Ava has followed in her mother’s footsteps, entering the acting arena after attending college at UC Berkley.
She studied social welfare before graduating in 2022 and becoming a model.
‘My parents have always encouraged me to choose the path that’s right for me and, you know, guide me along the way to make better choices than I might make,’ the nepo baby told Daily Pop in 2021.
‘I’m so grateful for that. That is such a privilege to have parents that support you in that way and want you to be who you truly are meant to be,’ she added.
The burgeoning actress made her television debut as Veronica in Doctor Odyssey earlier this year.
And in July she announced that she’d landed her first lead role in an upcoming romantic comedy.
