Julia Roberts beamed as she joined her lookalike niece Emma in a rare joint appearance at a Veuve Clicquot event in New York City.

The Hollywood star, 57, lead the A-listers alongside her American Horror Story niece, 34, at the Veuve Clicquot x Simon Porte Jacquemus Central Park Boathouse Event at Central Park Boathouse in NYC on Tuesday.

Julia looked effortlessly chic for the evening in a black tailored suit featuring an oversized blazer and wide-leg trousers, with a white shirt and striped tie underneath.

She completed the look with a stunning pair of patent lace-up boot stiletto heels and her iconic copper locks styled in loose waves.

Ditching her bright blonde hair, Emma showed off her new do which emulated her auntie’s as she opted for a copper bob.

Emma oozed sophistication in a black chiffon gown featuring a bandeau-style bodice with a sheer cut-out at her midriff.

They were joined at the event by The White Lotus star Charlotte Le Bon, who donned a black sparkly sweater with a white tulle mini-skirt and stiletto flats.

Also in attendance was French fashion designer Simon Porte Jacquemus who was behind the collaboration with Veuve. Actress Julia appears to have a close relationship with the designer as she jets around the world to be at his shows.

Julia and Simon were sat beside Beyonce’s sister Solange Knowles, 39, at the event.

Scream Queens star Emma first debuted her copper locks in February as she channelled her famous aunt Julia by dying her signature blonde mane ‘sunrise red’ at the Nine Zero One Salon in West Hollywood.

The New York-born nepo-baby hired ‘only the best’ hairstylists Nikki Lee to colour her locks and Riawna Capri to cut it and attach Great Lengths extensions.

Nikki told People that Roberts ‘needed to go red for an upcoming acting role’ gushing: ‘We love this look on Emma — it’s giving a very modern take on Julia Roberts hair in the nineties.’

It comes after Julia hit headlines on the After The Hunt press tour after an Italian journalist issued a brash response following a controversial interview with herself, Ayo Edebiri and Andrew Garfield.

Federica Polidoro from Italy’s ArtsLife Tv repeatedly appeared to ignore Ayo, 29, on questions related to Black Lives Matter and #MeToo – depsite her being the only black star there.

At one point she was seen specifically excluding an uncomfortable Ayo from the conversation.

Federica was given several chances to divert the interview to the Emmy-winning star of The Bear but continued to focus on Julia and Andrew, 42.

Julia told Federica at one point, ‘Can you repeat that? With your sunglasses on I can’t tell which of us you’re talking to.’

Ayo – who has also won a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Awards for her efforts on The Bear – eventually answered one of the questions despite being ignored by the interviewer.

As the clip went viral, responses flooded in on social media with many people taking the journalist to task for the way she conducted the group interview.

They wrote on Reddit: ‘Why… would you ask a man about the MeToo movement but purposefully exclude a woman?’;

‘WHY would you ask Julia Roberts and Andrew Garfield about BlackLivesMatter but exclude Ayo Edebiri????’;

‘So blatant too, to an A-list celebrity in front of cameras and an audience … the f***ing cheek … ayo’s truly better than me because wtf was that question,’;

One user praised Andrew for his body language and demeanour amid the uncomfortable segment.

‘The way he shifted his entire body to face Julia and Ayo and let them answer the question tells me he knows he’s got no place to answer a question like that lol. I’m just grateful it was Andrew Garfield and not, like, Chris Pratt. We’d have a five minute answer about cancel culture.

‘Also, Ayo knew. She couldn’t wait to jump in when she saw she was being purposefully excluded. She still had so much grace in the face of that but didn’t allow her voice to be silenced. Love her.’

In a blistering response, Federica claimed that she had been cyber-bullied in the wake of the interview.

‘Following an interview, I have been subjected to personal insults and attacks because of a question that, for some reason, was not well received by some members of the public,’ she said.

She continued: ‘I find it striking that those who unjustly accuse me of racism and consider themselves custodians of justice find acceptable violent language, personal attacks, and cyberbullying.’
