Salli Sachse, a staple of 1960s beach party films, died at the age of 82 on Monday.
Sachse‘s niece Catherine Schreiber told The Hollywood Reporter that the actress, best known for her appearances in films such as 1968’s Wild in the Streets and 1967’s The Trip passed away due to ‘an unknown cause’ at her California City house.
Sachse also had roots in music, as she was the photographer for the famed band Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
Among the films she appeared in included 1964’s Muscle Beach Party, 1964’s Bikini Beach 1965’s Beach Blanket Bingo,
Sachse was also seen in 1965’s How to Stuff a Wild Bikini, 1965’s Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine and 1966’s The Ghost in the Invisible Bikini.
