Jeremy Renner looked great as he stepped out in New York City on Wednesday wearing all black.
The 53-year-old actor — whose show Mayor of Kingstown returns in June — flashed a smile while exiting a building.
He was dressed in a long-sleeved button-up shirt and matching pants, rounding out the look with shiny black dress shoes.
His light brown hair was neatly cut above his ears and he had a shadow of a beard.
It comes a year-and-a-half after the star’s life-threatening snow plow accident.

In the upcoming season of Renner’s Paramount+ show, ‘A series of explosions rock Kingstown and its citizens as a new face of the Russian mob sets up shop in the city, and a drug war rages inside and outside prison walls.’
The official logline continued, ‘The pressure is on McLusky to end the war but things get complicated when a familiar face from his incarcerated past threatens to undermine the Mayor’s attempts to keep the peace among all factions.’
The Modesto, California native is joined in the cast of the series by costars Hugh Dillon, Tobi Bamtefa, Taylor Handley, Emma Laird, Derek Webster, Hamish Allan-Headley, Aidan Gillen, Dianne Wiest and Nishi Munshi.
The actor is more than a year removed from a January 1, 2023 snow plow accident in which he was run over by his seven-ton Pistenbully snow groomer near Lake Tahoe in Nevada, leaving him in critical condition at first.
Renner suffered more than 38 broken bones in the incident and had to undergo surgeries to repair his rib cage, face and legs amid a multitude of injures.
Renner spoke with The Hollywood Reporter in February about his return to work.
‘All I can focus on is this,’ Renner said. ‘Doing television is quite arduous. It’s long hours and a lot of heavy lifting.’
He added that he ‘will see how [he comes] out at the end of it.’

Elsewhere in the interview the actor said his ‘number one priority’ remains his ‘recovery and strengthening and just getting better, internally and externally.’
His goal, he explained, is ‘to be able to go to work and participate in life in the world again.’
Renner noted he was allowing his ‘body always to dictate’ what he ‘can and cannot do.’
He also shared with People that his friend and fellow actor Robert Downey Jr. regularly checked in with him amid his recovery in the ICU.
