50 Cent was slammed for congratulating Donald Trump on his election win despite refusing to perform at his rally.
The 49-year-old rapper, born Curtis James Jackson III, faced criticism in the comments section of his Instagram post, which he shared on Wednesday in the wake of the president-elect’s victory.
‘I don’t care how the fight goes, I’m leaving with the winner s***,’ he wrote in the caption alongside photos of him with Trump.
‘I still don’t know what’s going on,’ he added a facepalm emoji and ‘congratulations!’
This comes after he initially refused ‘turned down $3 million’ to perform at the former and now-future president’s campaign rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City in late October.

The 49-year-old rapper, born Curtis Jackson, faced criticism in the comments section of his Instagram post, which he shared on Wednesday in the wake of the president-elect’s victory
In response, many social media users called him out for his hypocrisy after he boasted about turning down the purported seven-figure check and then appearing to be back on Trump’s side after his win.
Last week, he made an appearance on The Breakfast Club podcast and claimed that he had been offered a whopping $3 million to take the stage at Trump’s rally in New York City.
‘Yeah, they offered me $3 million,’ he told podcast co-host Charlamagne Tha God after he asked about the event as well as the Republican National Convention over the summer.
The rapper said turned down both events and explained to the podcast hosts how he came to his decision.
‘I didn’t even go far,’ he said about the lucrative offers. ‘I’m afraid of politics, you understand? I do not like it.’
He explained: ‘It’s because when you do get involved in it, no matter how you feel, somebody passionately disagrees with you.’
The rapper then compared the controversial, divisive topic to religion, explaining that he avoids those topics.
‘Look, if you say, “I stay away from religion,” I stay away from politics,’ he said before adding controversial rapper Kanye West as an example.
He also shared a photo of him greeting and shaking hands with Trump at the 2011 Vanity Fair Oscar party in Los Angeles alongside his caption, in which he wrote: ‘I don’t care how the fight goes, I’m leaving with the winner s***’

‘Religion — that’s the formula for the confusion that it sent Kanye to Japan,’ Jackson continued.
‘He said something about both of those things and now he can only go to Japan. So you know, I’m like, I don’t want to get in that, man.’
Tomi Lahren, a conservative political commentator, penned a comment underneath Jackson’s post: ‘Fight fight fight!! Win win win!!’
Some social media users questioned why he rejected the lucrative offer to perform at Trump’s campaign rally. One comment read: ‘Sooooo why u ain’t take the 3 million?’
Another user added: ‘Why did you have to post this? You said you were staying out of politics. I am so disappointed.’
One Instagram commenter questioned what he previously said about topics he avoids. ‘I thought you said there were two things you don’t discuss?’

Meanwhile, others came to the entrepreneur’s defense. ‘He said he moves with winners period! POTUS for the next four years. I get it, business [is] never personal.’
