OnlyFans model Iris Hsieh was found dead in a bathtub at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur on October 22 at 1:44pm, but her ‘sudden death’ was reclassified as murder by Malaysia authorities on Tuesday.
The Taiwanese 31-year-old – known as ‘Nurse Goddess’ due to her nursing student past – had 2M social media followers, and commanded $40/month in subscriptions on the Fenix International-owned XXX platform.
Iris (born Hsieh Yu-hsin) had reportedly arrived in Malaysia on October 20 for a four-day visit, and she was meeting with the rapper Namewee at the hotel on Jalan Conlay to collaborate on a video project.
Kuala Lumpur police chief CP Datuk Fadil Marsus confirmed to the BBC that the Malaysian 42-year-old was arrested the same day on drug possession charges when they discovered alleged MDMA pills.

Namewee (born Wee Meng Chee) – who faces five years of prison and caning if convicted on December 18 – tested positive for amphetamines, methamphetamine, ketamine and THC.
On Sunday, the Fragile rapper took to Instagram to deny the drug charges and express his ‘deep sorrow’ over Hsieh’s death, writing that the ambulance took ‘nearly an hour’ to arrive.
Namewee was released on bail and The Star reported that police are now on the hunt for him as he ‘could not be located after the case was reclassified as murder.’
“For now, we regard this person who was last with the victim as being involved in the case,’ Marsus said in a press conference – according to the New Straits Times.
‘We will be calling him in to assist in the investigation. Depending on the findings, we will decide whether he should be treated as a suspect.’
Kuala Lumpur police will probe the victim’s arrival, accommodation records, security footage and transport movements.
