Michael Strahan, 52, posted a heartwarming clip of his daughter Isabella, 19 (R) and her twin sister Sophia (L) on Monday
The heartwarming video comes amid Isabella’s battle with brain cancer, and following her recent third emergency brain surgery; Strahan pictured with Isabella in September 2023
The video was set to an audio of a voice asking, ‘Have you ever just looked at someone and said, so this is what love looks like?’
Michael received an outpouring of support in the comments, with one fan writing, ‘It’s good seeing your daughter doing well, my wife and I call out her name every day for total healing.’
‘Love seeing Isabella laughing!’ another wrote.
‘So sweet. No favorites Michael. Love the smiles and laughter,’ someone else chimed in.
Last month Isabella showed fans the slew of medications she takes to ‘stay alive.’
The University of Southern California freshman was diagnosed with medulloblastoma in October after doctors found a tumor ‘bigger than a golf ball’ growing at the back of her brain, which caused her to suffer ‘excruciating headaches’ and vomiting.
Isabella has since been documenting her cancer battle on her YouTube channel, where, in April, she broke down in tears after having to undergo a third emergency surgery and suffered a ‘major setback’ in her chemotherapy treatment.
Amidst her heartbreaking journey, the teenager has attempted to stay positive by sharing health updates online – with her now documenting her time at home as she opens up about the various medications she relies on to live.

She shared a ‘film’ of herself healing at home, in which she showed off ‘Isabella’s station,’ which featured a basket of medications. She then got her blood drawn while enjoying some much-needed time with family.
The vlog, which was filmed and edited by her twin sister Sophia, began with Isabella making herself a cup of tea before sharing the devastating effects her cancer battle has had on her.
‘This is my station,’ she said while pointing to a basket filled with over five pill bottles. ‘These are my medicines that I take to stay alive,’ she added.
Despite being in an endless amount of pain and suffering due to her rare form of cancer, Isabella continued to crack jokes alongside Sophia – showing that she won’t let anything bring her spirits down.
She made herself a cup of hot tea with a ‘mindful teapot’ because she has ‘balance issues’ before once again teasing her health.
In between giggles, she added: ‘So I’m gonna use soursop tea, which is hopefully anti-cancerous… because I have cancer.’
The clip then cut to Isabella laying in bed on her phone while a nurse gave her a heparin injection, which is used to prevent blood clots.
The following day, Isabella told the camera she had a booked schedule and listed out the various appointments that would be taking her time.

‘I have a dermatology appointment at 1:30 and then I have blood work at 3. And I just had occupational therapy at 11:30,’ she said.
While in the car to her various appointments, her concerned driver asked how she was feeling.
She replied: ‘I’m feeling…’
The clips came just one day after fans expressed their concern for the teenager, prompting her to reassure them that she ‘isn’t going anywhere.’
The video also featured clips from prior weeks, with one of them being when Sophia came to surprise Isabella so that the two could celebrate when she learned that she only had two more rounds of chemo, instead of four left.
However, their celebrations were cut short after Isabella had to undergo a third emergency brain surgery amid her cancer battle, which was a devastating twist that came just two days after she celebrated her chemotherapy treatment being reduced.
Isabella, who was in her freshman year at USC when she was diagnosed with brain cancer, explained that she had to undergo another agonizing craniotomy surgery, just over one month after she had another emergency procedure to drain fluid from her head.
She bravely opened up about her experience of rushing to the hospital with a 104-degree fever in the clip shared online.
The video begins with her and her GMA host dad Michael and her headed to the hospital.
While laying in the hospital, Isabella revealed that she had to come back to the emergency room after she began running an extremely high fever.
‘Oh my god, are those my tears on my shirt? I started hysterically crying because I needed to get an IV and I haven’t had an IV in so long. They’re giving me fluids right now and antibiotics,’ she said as she pointed out the tear stains on her T-shirt.
The clip then cut to scans of Isabella’s brain as she revealed she had to undergo a ‘little procedure’ – the same surgery that she’s had to undergo in the past, however this time she shared that she was ‘completely awake’ while it was being carried out.
Michael was a ‘wreck’ when he discovered Isabella’s diagnosis, with an insider revealing to DailyMail.com that he was leaning on support from his GMA family during the ordeal
Isabella also had to undergo the egg freezing process, as the radiation and chemotherapy can effect her fertility (the sisters are seen with their dad in 2019)
She added: ‘So they did a little procedure. I’ve had this one before. They stuck a needle in three spots and drain fluid and I was completely awake for this. My first completely awake surgery. ‘
Isabella also revealed she had to have a craniotomy – which is a procedure in which a piece of the skull is removed to show the brain – which she has had to undergo a total of three times now, with the second time being just one month ago.
And while her second craniotomy left ‘screaming’ in pain, the college student noted that this time around wasn’t as bad.
She explained: ‘It’s not as bad as the first time but I’m really in pain. They do give me pain medicine…they don’t work that well on me. So I’m in a lot of pain.
Michael and Isabella appeared on Good Morning America together back in January where Isabella bravely opened up about her diagnosis for the first time.
She explained how she had started suffering from ‘excruciating headaches’ during her freshman year in college in 2023 and said: ‘I noticed something was off since probably September.
‘Like October 1, that’s when I definitely noticed headaches, nausea, [I] couldn’t walk straight.’
Initially, Isabella said she mistook her symptoms for vertigo. Michael confessed that when his daughter shared her symptoms with him, he never considered that they might be indications that she was battling cancer, particularly because she was just 18 and was so ‘young, strong and healthy.’
Michael and the twins’ mother, Jean Muggli, went through a nasty legal battle after their divorce, but they have now been attempting to mend their relationship for their daughter’s sake.
In January, an insider exclusively revealed to DailyMail.com, how, despite the pain, his daughter’s ongoing ordeal has helped to heal his fractured relationship with his ex-wife.
‘Michael has not had the easiest time dealing with this,’ the source told DailyMail.com. ‘He was a wreck when he first found out just as any parent would be.
Michael shares the girls with ex-wife Jean Muggli (R). The former pair were married from 1999 until 2007
‘He has leaned on his close friends including those at GMA and he is doing the best to be strong for her, but it is not easy.’
Revealing how the devastating news brought the former athlete and his ex-wife together, the insider continued: ‘Despite his awful divorce from his ex-wife Jean, the two of them have come together and put their differences aside to be there for Isabella. This has made Michael more appreciative and grateful.’
Michael married Jean in 1999, but their marriage fell apart after seven years. A nasty legal battle ensued, with Jean filing a domestic violence complaint against Michael – which he denied.
The former couple eventually settled their divorce in 2007.
