Fly on the wall series Airline documented the goings on at one of Britain’s newest budget airlines Easyjet.
The now iconic show, which first aired in 1998, followed staff and often disgruntled passengers in both Luton and Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport.
Many of the team became well known to viewers at home including no nonsense Jane Boulton and cool as a cucumber Leo Jones.
But 17 years after ITV axed the show, many of the team lead very different lives away from the airport.
Here are where the stars are now…

Jane Boulton
Jane, now 52, worked as a supervisor in the airport but has revealed she believes the show incorrectly portrayed her as a ‘cow’.
Now a married mother-of-three living in South London, she famously had to put up with some very angry passengers.
And while she was able to handle those people with some pretty sassy comebacks she has said there was more to her than how she appeared on the show.
She told the Metro: ‘They made me look like such a cow.
‘A lot of those passengers I was with for hours, and they will cut it down to 30 seconds. Viewers often didn’t get to see how much I helped people.
‘I’m very empathetic and sympathetic – that was rarely shown. It feels like an unfair portrayal of who I really am.’
Some of her best moments include when she spotted an unattended bag at check-in.

She no longer works in the airline industry and quit the business in 2014. She now runs her own company called Party Paradise UK (Pictured on This Morning in 2023)
‘Unattended luggage again,’ she said. ‘They will be shocked when they come back and it’s gone,’ before giving an evil laugh.
Talking about an unsteady passenger, she said: ‘Well he must be drunk. He’s wet himself and everything. Good grief. I have to go wash my hands.’

Leo presented himself as a ‘travel expert’, analysing the industry under Covid-19 travel restrictions and was first interviewed by Ellie on GB News in August 2021.
Following the broadcast the pair exchanged messages thanking one another but nothing further.
He was interviewed by her again in October that year, after which he suggested they should present a travel show together before later telling her: ‘I love seeing you in the morning X’
When she didn’t respond he followed up with ‘you take my breath away’ and then, over the next three days ‘You motivate me beyond words’, ‘I love seeing you’, and ‘You are my sunshine I love you’.
When Leo then asked: ‘How long do I have to wait to see you it is driving me insane,’ Ellie finally replied, telling him: ‘Please stop messaging me it is beyond inappropriate.’
But the court heard the messages only stopped for three months before Leo, using a separate Instagram account, says: ‘I know I’m not supposed to message you but thank you for everything you do for the travel industry,’ followed by ‘No one will ever come close to you’.
