Austin Aaron and his wife Kristen are the proud parents of a brand new baby boy.
The actor, 28, best known for his work on the controversial series 13 Reasons Why, shared the happy news on social media Thursday.
‘Cal Parker Aaron. Welcoming our sweet rainbow baby to the world,’ the Ballard actor wrote.
Filling in the important details he said the little one was ‘Born August 26th at 1:34pm 7lbs 6oz.’
It was a tough delivery for his wife Kristen, ‘who labored for 42 hours and ended up having a c-section.’
‘It was a war,’ the proud papa said, ‘but we are so beyond blessed our beautiful baby boy is finally here happy and healthy!’
Aaron shared some behind the scenes photos and videos from the long labor on social media.

In one, the couple look quite calm as Kristen was propped up on a hospital bed in a black dress just after being admitted.
A sweet video clip shows the mom-to-be bouncing on a silver stability ball in her blue hospital gown trying to move things along as Aaron danced around the room.
A more serious snap shows Austin wearing wearing black sweats and Kristen’s mom comforting her during the long labor. A soothing rainbow light cast shades of blue, green, pink and yellow across the room.
Another photo shows the 6’4″ star dressed in scrubs with a red cap over his blonde hair as he and Kristen settled down in the delivery room waiting for their baby to make his debut.
A joyful clip shows the new dad walking into the waiting room where he received congratulatory hugs from waiting family members.
The new family had to stay in the hospital a couple of days as Kristen recovered from the C-section and Austin was only too happy to share his sofa with little baby Cal, who lay sweetly on his chest.
Kristen shared some of the photos in her Instagram stories and wrote on the picture of Cal in his bassinette, ‘hell was the journey but it brought me heaven.’
The new parents, who met at the University of California at Berkley, where he as a football player and she a cheerleader, swaddled their son in their school colors with a blue and gold beanie on his head and a blanket with Cal logo written on it in the school colors.

Austin and Kristen tied the knot in November 2021 and revealed they were having a boy when they announced the pregnancy in March.
‘We’re beyond blessed to announce Baby Aaron coming this September! ❤️’ the wrote, sharing photos from the sonogram.
Congratulations for the couple came in from friends and family. 13 Reasons Why co-star Amy Hargreaves wrote, ‘Oh my goodness. welcome sweet baby!! Congratulations ❤️’
